Franklin TN, Aug 26, 2015- Celebrating achievements and milestones is an important part of the culture at Willamette Valley Medical Center and their parent company Capella Healthcare. During the annual Leadership Conference awards banquet Capella recognized a number of hospitals and individuals for their 2014 achievements in the company’s five pillars of excellence.
Earning the top honor, the STAR Award for overall achievement – with outstanding performance in all five pillars was awarded to Willamette Valley Medical Center. As a whole, they went on to win the following top awards:

- Best Overall Inpatient Satisfaction
- Best Overall Employee Retention
- Highest Achievement in EBDITA Finance goal
For Individual awards, WVMC’s very own Meredith Nelson took home the top honor of, CFO of the Year. That is a total of 6 awards for Willamette Valley Medical Center.
