When a health emergency arises, Willamette Valley Medical Center is ready to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As the only rural hospital from the Coast to Portland, Willamette Valley Medical Center’s ED is devoted to providing emergent care to our community and surrounding areas. It is our goal to provide amazing care when you or your family needs it most. We work closely with our local Police and Fire Departments and are fully prepared and equipped to treat all types of patients 24/7.
What to Expect in our ER
As a patient, you will be cared for by staff trained to respond to any type of medical emergency. We understand a visit to the ER can be a very stressful time; therefore, you should expect us to communicate with you and guide you through your situation. You should always ask questions if you do not understand.
Remember to bring the following with you to the Emergency Department: Insurance card, list of current medications, list of current health care providers.

Willamette Valley Medical Center received Chest Pain Center accreditation from ACC Accreditation Services, the accrediting arm of the American College of Cardiology. We are dedicated to providing our patients with the best heart care treatment available. As an accredited facility, we use the newest methods and best practices in heart care to ensure that our patients receive:

When a health emergency arises, Willamette Valley Medical Center is ready to serve you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We hope you and your family members will never need our emergency services, but if you do, you can feel confident that you’ll experience quality care. Our ED has telemedicine for acute stroke patients and critical pediatric patients to consult with an OHSU/Doernbecher physician in real time.
Urgent Care
Visit our urgent care center when you need immediate care for minor illnesses or injuries. We have many on-site capabilities, and we offer convenient hours.
