About our volunteers
Our Volunteers are an important part of the community and a part of our hospital family. They play a vital component to the success of Willamette Valley Medical Center by providing support in our clinical and non-clinical areas. Volunteers are the smiling faces who greet and escort patients, families, and friends. Volunteers work closely with our staff to lend assistance when needed.
As a Volunteer, you have the opportunity to share your talents and skills by helping in Admitting, Human Resources, Patient Portal, Materials, Emergency Department, and the Medical floors. Some tasks include escorting, greeting, and putting together packets.
Benefits: Volunteering is a community service, where individuals donate their time. In appreciation, we offer some benefits such as a Letter of recommendation upon completing 100 hours of service. Free annual flu shot, Hep. C, Chicken Pox, M.M R., free lunch, coffee, and tea.
