Educational Awards for Yamhill County Residents

Between 2004 and 2018, the WVMC Volunteers have given $308,650 in awards to Yamhill County residents studying for a career in health care.

Our Healthcare Education Committee has opened the application process for the 2019-2020 scholarship season. The link to the application can be found below.

If you are a Yamhill County resident and have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in an institute of higher learning for a career in healthcare, you may qualify to receive a scholarship.

Here is how to apply:

  1. Download and print our HEA Student Application or if you have previously received an HEA award and would like to re-apply fill out the Returning Recipient Application.
  2. Return the completed application via email to or mail to:

The deadline for applying is April 15, 2019.

You Can Contribute to our Scholarship Fund

You can help the WVMC Volunteers, a 501c3 non-profit organization, encourage and support higher education and add to that pool of well-trained healthcare workers in our community.  Recipients are Yamhill County residents who are enrolled in an accredited institution of higher learning.  Also, the WVMC Gift Shop contributes all proceeds to the Healthcare Education Awards.
