Educational Awards for Yamhill County Residents
As of May 2017, for the past twelve years, the WVMC Volunteers have given $269,150 in awards to Yamhill County residents studying for a career in health care.
Our Healthcare Education Committee just closed the application process and has sense awarded its scholarships for the 2017-2018 school year. Please check back in early 2018 for the 2018-2019 scholarship application that will be found at the link below.
If you are a Yamhill County resident and have been accepted into or are currently enrolled in an institute of higher learning for a career in healthcare, you qualify to apply.
Here is how to apply:
- Download & Print our application and return it completed
- Email to HEAWVMC@gmail.com
- Mail it to “WVMC Volunteers” 2700 SE Stratus Ave. McMinnville, OR 97128
The deadline for applying is April 17, 2017.
You Can Contribute to our Scholarship Fund
You can help the WVMC Volunteers, a 501 non-profit organization, encourage and support higher education and add to that pool of well-trained healthcare workers in our community. Recipients are Yamhill County residents who are enrolled in an accredited institute of higher learning.
