Cardiac Event Monitoring
Event Monitoring records heart rhythms during patient events or symptoms, which have not been captured with other procedures or tests.
Patients are instructed to press the record button if they have any symptoms they believe may be related to their heart or an arrhythmia. The patient is normally monitored for one to two weeks, but could be monitored for up to 30 days in order to capture those infrequent symptoms patients experience.
Cardiac Event Monitoring is fast and accurate and can identify or exclude an arrhythmia as the cause of symptoms over an extended time period.
