Employee Support Initiatives
In our work each day, we have the opportunity to directly impact the health and well-being of countless people in our community and across the region. We know that advancing our mission simply wouldn’t be possible without talented and dedicated employees, physicians, and clinical teams who share a passion for providing quality healthcare services to those we serve. As such, it’s important for us to find meaningful ways to support our teams when they need it most. Below are some initiatives we are proud to have implemented for our employees at our facility.
Employee Assistance Program
We believe it is important for our teams to have access to resources and help when they need them. Through our Employee Assistance Program, employees have access to 24/7 counseling support, individual counseling sessions through tele-conferencing, and a multitude of other resources.
The Helping Hand Fund
We believe that every working family should have affordable health care coverage. We also understand that in this economic environment, some may need a helping hand to afford coverage. To help ensure all of our employees have health care coverage, our organization offers the Helping Hand Fund. This fund helps employees who need financial assistance in order to pay for their health care benefits.
LifeCare Disaster Recovery Fund
The LifeCare Disaster Recovery Fund provides short-term, emergency support to LifePoint employees or eligible dependents who are facing serious financial hardship as a result of certain unforeseen and unpreventable circumstances – including the current COVID-19 pandemic.
Respite Rooms
Within our facility, we have developed Respite Rooms to provide employees a spot to relax and disconnect from the intensity of the workday. The rooms feature a massage chair, calming lights, ambient music, and other calming amenities to ensure they are a place of peace and benefit for our teams, especially during challenging times.
