Healthcaring Stories
May 8, 2024 - My brother came for a visit from San Diego. While here he hurt his knee and I brought him to the ER at WVMC. He was seen right away in the ER and referred to Radiology Department for several imaging procedures including one procedure where the radiologist needed to inject a contrast dye. All this took place in one day. My brother was amazed and grateful. He said he had a similar issue with his other knee while in San Diego and it took months to get all the same imaging and procedures completed there. I was proud of WVMC for rendering such rapid and complete care to my out-of-town brother.
