Willamette Valley Medical Center (WVMC) today announced that Stacey Winters, D.O., has joined its staff and will be offering pediatric services to patients throughout McMinnville and the surrounding region. Dr. Winters brings more than 18 years of clinical experience to WVMC and is the first pediatrician to join the hospital’s medical staff this year.
“We are pleased to welcome Dr. Winters to McMinnville to practice at Willamette Valley Medical Center,” said Scott Avery, Interim CEO of WVMC. “Pediatric primary care is a growing need in our community, and Dr. Winters’ training at the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma and leadership at the Kadlec Health System Department of Pediatrics has given her a great breadth of experience in a wide range of care that people in our region need. This expertise will be important as WVMC works to make our community healthier.”
Dr. Winters graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She joins the hospital’s medical staff following experience at Woodburn Pediatrics and Liberty House Child Abuse Assessment Center. Dr. Winters is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
